Description
Emmeline Pankhurst was one of the best known suffragettes and you can see her ‘Rise up, Women’ statue in Manchester as well as the memorial to her and her daughter Christabel at the corner of the Palace of Westminster in London.
This stained glass picture would be a lovely gift for a feminist. The colours of the suffragette flag have been used – purple (loyalty and dignity, purity (white), and hope (green) and the background is a beautiful clear, iridescent glass. It’s framed in solid zinc and has a chain for hanging. It’s approximately A4 size.
