Ada Lovelace was a 19th Century mathematician. Ada was the daughter of Lord Byron and has been credited with being one of the first computer programmers because of her work with Charles Babbage and his ‘Analytical Engine’. The annual Ada Lovelace day is in October celebrating women in Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Look her up!

This Ada Lovelace stained glass design is based on my own drawing – see below – from a Science Museum portrait from around 1838. She’s made from a selection of purple, black and grey glasses with a hand painted fan and a delicate wire hanging loop. She can also be displayed on a wooden stand.

See if she’s still for sale in my online shop
